Perhaps you are one of the leaves of my Penuparthy Tree or one who would like to leaf through the pages! In any case, warm welcome to you.
'Penuparthy' is the name of a place in Andhra Pradesh and our family is one named after it. As is the wont, most of us, have our Initials of names as P to denote Penuparthy. But as the shape of cloud changes in the blowing wind, the practice is slowly changing. Some of our ancestors long back moved into deeper southern parts and Tamilnadu and now there is a decent number of families are in touch with each other, under the Penuparthy Tree. I have heard of my immediate forefathers and come to know how great they have been, not necessarily in Wealth - but in the richness of mind, thoughts, spirits, beneovoelence and living the life of fullness.
I plan to write about the great souls that I have heard about. If you know, about any of the Penuparthians, please do share with me here. Let us know about them and who we are.
Somewhere I read that a person who does not know about the history is like a leaf that does no which tree it belongs to!
